Project:
Utilizing Cornell Notes with class lecture & demonstration of Adobe InDesign, the student will first create 2 abstract designs showing their use of each tool reviewed. Next the student will reproduce the fundraiser poster provided to them with concern for accuracy in both typography & measurement. Lastly the student will creatively design their own SkillsUSA poster as a Live Job to include all of the content provided, all to the criteria detailed in the PDF.

April Homework Theme - Fantasy or Exaggeration
Photo homework - Must be exaggerated perspective - ie foreshortening.
- Get close, change your angles, get high or super low!
- Contact sheet is 16 total for foreshortening - shortened contact sheet for foreshortening
- More than half MUST be a human figure - live, breathing human (9 or more total)
- 7 or less may be an animal
-No toys, figures, statues, stuffed animals, etc
Make sure you have good VARIETY!
**BONUS - forced (samples below) up to 4 additional photos
- you must successfully complete the required 16 foreshortening to get bonus points
Sketchbook - will be Fantasy - combining 2 or more photographic references together!

- Can NOT use someone else's fantasy/character
- needs to be your own combination
No social media 'filters.' No photoshopping or editing! Must be captured in camera!
No matter if you are looking for the perfect reference for your sketchbook or for that perfect shot with the camera, keep the following in mind:

Think beyond the obvious & and be creative

Always be thoughtful of your composition - PLAN your space! Remember you MUST utilize MARGINS in your sketchbook
