Eye or Eyes
4th Rotation Homework Theme - Eye(s)
It is often said, 'Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.' So maybe behold beauty, or maybe sorrow. Is the eye a gate to the soul?
Control your subject matter & its environment - Remember how important lighting is. Think of your lighting - natural or indoor. What can you do to set your photos off from all the others?
Whether it's with the camera or in illustration form, remember to give everything thought & purpose. Be aware of composition & directional - of your eyes, props or even expression.
No matter if you are looking for the perfect reference for your sketchbook or for that perfect shot with the camera, keep the following in mind:
◦ Be CREATIVE
◦ What background might you need?
◦ Think beyond the obvious & and be creative
◦ Always be thoughtful of your composition
◦ Is there a more unique view or lighting style?
◦ Consider props or lighting to help set the mood/expression you are looking to capture
◦ Photos and sketches should not be manipulated on the computer
- capture creativity in what you see
